The offering from FracTEL allows the pioneering telecommunications company to help its channel partners escape what they call “Reseller Sucker Syndrome.”
“When I worked as a reseller, I remember well the commission chasing and lack of control I felt over the customer relationship. On many occasions, I was left feeling like I got played for a big sucker,” said FracTEL president Michael Crown. “When we decided to create a channel program, I made a vow that we would never treat our partners the way that we had been treated. We determined that we could only accomplish this by offering a solution that allows our partners to own the end user. And, in telecom, the only way to legally own the end user is to become a registered service provider.” By dramatically reducing the cost and complexity of becoming a service provider, FracTEL has created a disruptive “Third Way,” and intends to create a strong presence in the telecom reseller channel.
